Biota! was to have been a major aquarium operated
by the Zoological Society of London (operators also of London Zoo and Whipsnade).
Between 2001 and 2006 I built and maintained financial models for Biota!, from an
initial business plan through to detailed coverage of both capital and revenue
sides of the project. Construction of Biota! was linked to the Silvertown Quays
development which could not secure funding because of the recession.
